Food from Austria: Tiroler Grösl





One of the countries in Europe that Ive learned to love is Austria an because of this I worked there for some months , specifically in Klosterneuburg in Lower Austria and spent Weekends with my friend who resides in Vienna. Ive learned, too how to cook one of the easiest traditional Food the Country has the offer, the Tiroler Grösl.

Tiroler Grösl is made of slices of fried potatoes, sunny side up eggs topped with freshly crispy fried Bacons. The dish is easy to prepare, simple and yet appetizing. I cook this meal to enjoy a brunch over the Weekends. You can never go wrong serving Tiroler Grösl. Try it




Philippine Snacks: Adobong Mani (Savory Peanut)




Adobong Mani is deep-fried Peanuts with lots of garlic and just the right amout of salt until the Peanuts are crispy. The 2 Versions of the Adobong Mani are shown below as they are still being fried along the street of San Pablo City, Laguna

Adobong Mani is one of the most popular Street Food in the Philippines. They are also available in plastic packs in all the supermarkets nationwide.

Philippine Snacks: Pancit Canton

Pancit Canton is one of the many varieties of noodles called Pancit in the Philippines. It is made from dried egg noodles which can be bought in all the groceries and food markets all over the Philippines.
It is composed of sauteed assorted vegetables, such as cabbage, bell peppers, carrots etc with soy sauce or fish sauce and ground pepper. Sometimes, boiled quail eggs are also added. Various recipes exist depending on who is cooking.
